1* COLTS -10 over Jaguars (L)
The Colts (4-5) are starting to resemble the team many thought they would be by going 4-2 of late with their only losses coming in OT to top tier Baltimore and Tennessee. The surge has come on the back of stalwart RB Jonathan Taylor running behind a very solid offensive line. The Jags (2-6) are coming off of a huge upset of the powerful Bills which they hope is a harbinger of things to come. This game has the feel of a classic letdown spot for the Jags who go on the road off a big win versus a desperate team fighting for their playoff life. While the Indy defense has not been great against better teams they should have enough to hold down the inconsistent Jacksonville offense. Trevor Lawrence will likely be a very good QB one day but he is not there yet as defenses have been able to confuse him with different schemes and blitz packages. There is always the possibility of a backdoor cover with a double digit spread but the running of Taylor in the 4th quarter should be able to salt this one away. Play the Colts in a SOLID 1* Selection.
