WRITEUP: 4* ELITE Saquon Barkley OVER 1.5 Receptions – We are not sure what the bookmakers are thinking here but posting this Barkley Reception Prop at 1.5 Over -170 is an absolute steal. We believe it should be -370 primarily because of the game script this Super Bowl presents. There is simply no chance that KC Defensive Coordinator Spagnuola is going to let Barkley dominate this game on the ground. You will see 7 and 8 men in the box and that will no doubt severely curb Philly’s run game production. Spags will force Jalen Hurts to beat them and let the chips fall where they may. While this is a sound defensive scheme (they really have no choice), the Eagles know it’s coming and will surely game plan around it. We believe a big part of that game plan will be targeting Barkley out in space using swing passes 5-6 times. Considering that these are short, easy throws there is no reason in the world why the sure handed Barkley will not catch at least 2 of them. We will actually be laddering this wager to go over 2.5 and 3.5 believing he will ultimately grab 4 balls. This line is likely set so low because in 2 of the 3 playoff games Barkley has had limited production out of the backfield. Against the Packers he caught 2 of 2 targets for only 4 yards and versus Washington, in his last game, he caught 1 of 2 targets for only 4 yards. But in the middle game against the Rams he did catch 4 balls on 4 targets for 27 yards which is closer to what we should see in the Super Bowl. We will also be playing Barkley to go OVER 13.5 Receiving Yards at -120 as a 3* VERY STRONG Release to piggy back on our top play. You can play both of these Barkley receiving props with high confidence.
