3-7-25 SportsCapPro BETS 3-0 SWEEP Thursday Behind 4* FULLERTON and IRVINE! (PLUS 10 UNITS)

What a night! It’s VERY RARE for SCP to release more than a single 4* ELITE Selection on a weeknight card, and equally rare when the handicap of all 3 Releases go exactly to plan (See Writeups below), but that was the case Thursday where the outcome of every game was decided early. Suddenly we LOVE the BIG WEST! Our 4* ELITE play on Cal-Poly was an absolute slaughter as the Mustangs put a beat down on hapless Cal-Fullerton 100-61. This was the 11th straight loss for the Titans, with 5 of those coming by 25+ points. This could be one of the worst teams in the history of College Basketball and we will get one last chance to potentially fade them again on Saturday. In our second 4* ELITE Selection we eagerly backed powerhouse Cal-Irvine to take care of fading Cal-Davis on the road, and they did just that, by a final tally of 88-59. The Anteaters have a very real chance of winning the Big West tourney and gaining an invite to the Big dance. Our 2* STRONG Release on North Alabama was another “rocking chair” as they dispatched Jacksonville 78-63. The victory padded the Lions HOME record which now stands at an incredible 16-1. Hosting the A-SUN tournament is a monstrous, and somewhat unfair, advantage for the Lions but they are not apologizing and will be a very tough out on their home floor. The 3-0 Thursday Sweep, for PLUS 10 UNITS, brings the SportsCapPro 11 DAY running record to 34-10 for PLUS 65 UNITS. Having been in this business for 45 years we are very aware that this is a ridiculous run, and that regression is inevitable and that there is a 1-10 gut punch coming along somewhere. But for now, we will just keep doing the work and hope the bounces keep going our way.

WRITEUP: 3-6-25: 4* ELITE – CAL-Poly -14 – Tonight the Cal-Poly Mustangs (6-12) host the pathetic Cal-Fullerton Titans (1-17) in a BIG WEST conference matchup that should not be close. This is our BEST BET on the Thursday card. The Mustangs need to win tonight and Saturday to make the conference tournament so they will be Highly Motivated to keep the pedal to the metal. They average 81 ppg and will likely soar past that number this evening. The Mustangs are 4-1 ATS at HOME in their last 5 and should be able to name the score against this bunch. Fullerton may be the WORST team in the country. The negative stats are endless. They have now lost 10 straight; the last 4 by 25+, and have not eclipsed 56 points in their last 4 games. They rank 349th nationally in scoring and are DEAD LAST in 3 point shooting at 26.9%. We cannot recall ever laying this kind of number with a 6-12 team but, if it’s ever justified, it has to be tonight. We have a high scoring team at HOME who needs to win to have a chance to get into the conference tournament, versus a team who has CLEARLY QUIT, who can’t score and who cannot stop anybody from scoring, and who has lost their last 4 by 25+. Quite honestly, this may be our STRONGEST RELEASE of the entire College Basketball season so you can load up with confidence as we fully expect this game to be well decided by halftime. ROMP!

WRITEUP: 3-6-25: 4* ELITE – CAL-Irvine -6.5 – The Cal Irvine Anteaters (15-3) visit the Cal-Davis Aggies (9-9) tonight in a Big West matchup, sitting just a game behind San Diego for the conference lead. The Anteaters are a very good road team, sitting at 12-3 overall on the ROAD and 10-5 ATS, so they will not be intimidated here. They do it with DEFENSE, ranking 8th nationally, and will look to clamp down on the Aggies in this battle. Cal-Davis is limping down the stretch having lost 4 straight, while going just 1-4 ATS in their last 5. Irvine needs this one and we believe they get it in style with a fairly easy double digit victory.

WRITEUP: 3-6-25: 2* STRONG – North Alabama -6 – The North Alabama Lions (14-4) host the Jacksonville Dolphins (12-6) tonight in the A-SUN conference tournament. Playing this one at Home is a huge advantage for the Lions as they are 15-1 on their Home floor while going 12-2 ATS. They are also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 overall. The Dolphins are a solid team, at this level, but come in just 2-4 ATS in their last 6. These teams met February 15th on this same floor with the Lions winning 92-79. Nothing has changed, other than the stakes are now higher, and we look for the Lions to roar at HOME tonight!
