We had a frustrating day on Sunday going 2-2 but ending up on the wrong side. Our 2* STRONG Yankees play came in easy with a 4-0 shutout, but the Phillies anemic bullpen blew up our 2* STRONG release on Philly -1.5 when, after leading 4-1 entering the 7th inning behind an excellent start by Luzardo, some clown named Orion Kerkering came in and got shelled for 3 runs on 3 hits with a Homer in an eventual 10 inning loss. Even with the Philadelphia offense being one of the best, they are NOT winning a World Series with this bullpen! For the time being we may need to adjust any Philly plays to FIRST 5. In the NBA, our 1* SOLID Cavaliers -12.5 won handily 121-100 but, our 2* STRONG Player Prop on the Cav’s De’Andre Hunter OVER 1.5 3’s was a bust. This one was the most frustrating as Cleveland completely changed their rotation making Hunter an afterthought. He entered this contest having made at least 2 threes in 6 straight games while averaging 26 minutes. On Sunday Hunter was on the court for just 16 minutes going 0-4 from the field and attempting ZERO 3’s. There is always a chance that teams alter their regular season rotation but, in this instance, the change was drastic. We will make a note of that going forward. Dropping 2.34 Units brings our rolling 55 day record to 88-64 for PLUS 83.06 Units.
