5-3-25 SCP 1-1 Friday 1* Houston Beats Golden St to Force Game 7 (-.42 Units)

We went 1-1 on Friday in NBA action as the Houston Rockets staved off elimination (115-107) with a gutsy road win at Golden St. Fred Van Fleet poured in 29 to lead the Rockets who forced a deciding Game 7 with the series knotted up 3-3. Our 1* SOLID release on Jimmy Butler to go OVER 21.5 points Won easily (27) but it was not enough to propel the Warriors. Our other 1* SOLID play on Golden St to Win the 1st quarter came up just short (21-25) as the Rockets showed they meant business from the outset. Losing .42 Units brings our rolling 67 day record to 103-76 for Plus 86.86 Units.

1* SOLID – (NBA) Golden St Wins First Quarter -142 (21-25) LOSS

1* SOLID – (NBA – Player Prop) Golden St – Jimmy Butler OVER 21.5 (27) WIN

1* SOLID – (NBA) Golden St First Quarter -142:  Houston crushed the Warriors in Game 5 (131-116) which allowed Golden St head coach Steve Kerr to pull his starters down 29 with six minutes left in the third quarter. Kerr decided to rest his players with the plan of closing out the series tonight at HOME. We look for the Warriors to come out fresh, strong and motivated after being embarrassed and to have the lead after the 1st Quarter.

1* SOLID – (NBA Player Prop) Golden St – Butler OVER 21.5 Points (-120): The entire  Warriors offense was lousy in Game 5 but we look for a much more energized effort tonight led by Playoff Jimmy Butler who has cleared this line in three of the four full games he’s played. Steph Curry does not seem 100% healthy which puts the ball in Butler’s hands even more. Look for Jimmy and crew to end the series tonight.
