There is no way to sugar coat it; Sunday was an unmitigated DISASTER as we had the worst single day of 2025. Having been around the Sports Betting arena since 1979 this is not the first terrible day we have ever had, nor will it be the last, but that knowledge does not make it any less painful for ourselves or our subscribers. And the fact that it happened on a Sunday is no surprise as, for whatever reason, Sundays have been the most unpredictable day in Baseball Betting for decades. Our 3* VERY STRONG play on Kansas City went down 3-1 as the Royals could muster just 4 hits off of Lucas Giolito who had previously been struggling with a 5.51 ERA. Giolito went 6.2 innings allowing just 1 run. Our 2* STRONG selection on Atlanta lost 4-3 when Braves closer Raisel Iglesias gave up the go ahead run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Iglesias has been awful in his last 3 appearances giving up 4 earned runs in just 2.1 innings. Pirates starter Carmen Mlodzinski was somehow able to shut out the Braves over 5.2 innings even though he entered the contest with a 5.20 ERA and a horrible 1.54 WHIP. Our final 2* STRONG release on San Diego came up way short as the Padres pulled a complete no-show versus the pathetic Rockies in a 9-3 pounding. The only bright spot of the day was getting our 1* SOLID play on the Mets home 6-2 behind a solid effort by Griffin Canning who went 6 innings strong and allowed 1 run. So we put this one behind us and get right back to the grind tomorrow. Dropping 10.9 Units brings our rolling 76 day record to 120-90 for Plus 87.21 Units.
