Our 4* ELITE selection on Jonathan Kuminga OVER 17.5 Points was an easy WINNER as he poured in 26 points on 11-23 shooting (3 of 9 from 3). Our numbers had this line at 22 which made it a super value 4* ELITE auto-play. With no Steph Curry, and Jimmy Butler not playing like his usual self offensively, Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski (28 points) were forced to carry the load and it wasn’t enough as the Minnesota Timberwolves eliminated the Warriors 121-110. It’s a shame when a playoff series cannot be settled on the court with both teams at full strength but unfortunately that’s how it goes sometimes. The Wolves may be the only team in the West with the talent and balance to give OKC a run in what should be a very good series. Adding 4 Units brings our rolling 79 day record to 122-91 for Plus 93.21 Units.
4* ELITE – (NBA Player Prop) Golden St – Kuminga OVER 17.5 Points -120 (26) WIN
4* ELITE – (NBA Player Prop) – Jonathan Kuminga OVER 17.5 Points -120
The Golden St Warriors visit the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight with the odds stacked heavily against them. With Steph Curry still out, and Jimmy Butler being inexplicably passive on the offensive end, we look for Jonathan Kuminga to be a big part of Steve Kerr’s offensive strategy tonight. Since Curry has been out Kuminga has had a substantial bump in playing time as he has found the court for 32, 30 and 36 minutes in the last 3 games which has resulted in him scoring 26, 23 and 30 points. The consensus line for Kuminga’s point total is 17.5 which makes no sense at all. Our numbers have this line set at 22 and we feel that is even a bit light. Somebody has to score for the Warriors to have a shot and we believe Kuminga will lead the way. Having this much value between the Vegas line and our number makes this a 4* ELITE auto-play.
