Our 4* Detroit Tigers demolished the White Sox 13-1 behind 3 Home Runs from Kerry Carpenter and a stellar effort from Jack Flaherty who allowed just 1 run over 6 innings. The Tigers jumped all over Jonathan Cannon for 5 runs in 3 innings and coasted home from there. Detroit owned every advantage in this matchup with the better lineup and the better pitcher and getting them at -137 to win by 2 runs was a bargain. Fading the White Sox is “the gift that keeps on giving” and, at this point, the price is almost irrelevant. Our 2* Parlay also hit as the underdog Mets slipped by the Dodgers 4-3 in 10 innings to WIN the 2nd leg. The Mets entered this contest having won 7 of 8 and the linemakers posting them as this big of an underdog with Dustin May throwing for the Dodgers was simply unjustified. May actually pitched pretty well allowing only 2 runs in 6 innings but Paul Blackburn was even better for the Mets as he blanked the mighty Dodgers lineup over 5 innings. May entered this matchup having bombed in 3 of his last 5 starts and still cannot seem to figure it out, despite his talent. Going 2-0 on Monday brings our rolling 98 day record to 137-121 for Plus 75.46 Units.
