8-20-25 SCP 3-0 Tuesday 4* White Sox/Braves OVER / PADRES Easy WINNERS! (+9 Units)

We had a 3-0 Tuesday as the Best 7 Week MLB Run in SportsCapPro.com History continues. In the last 49 days we have gone 83-29 for Plus 219.92 Units. Every selection, with write-ups, can be found on the website under Premium Pick Recap. We struggled in the first part of the MLB season with numerous Bad Beats, along with some plain Bad Handicaps, just killing us but the Gambling Gods have seen fit to be kind of late and we will happily accept. We are keenly aware that these types of numbers cannot last but, we are seeing them clearly right now and hope to keep it going for as long as possible. Our 4* ELITE Release on the White Sox/Braves OVER Won Easily (21 Runs) for the second night in a row as Atlanta bounced back with an 11-10 victory. As noted in our write-up, the Braves Bryce Elder continued his swoon lasting just 4.2 innings while allowing a ridiculous 8 runs on 9 hits. White Sox starter Shane Smith also did his part as the Braves got to him for 4 runs on 7 hits over 6 innings. Yet again these bullpens were helpful as 8 more earned runs were added under their watch. Our other 4* ELITE Selection on the Padres WON as they ended their skid behind a stellar effort from ace Nick Pivetta. Pivetta acted as a True Stopper firing 6 innings of 1 run ball with the Padres excellent bullpen finishing up the 5-1 victory with 3 shutout innings. San Diego remains 2 games back of the Dodgers in the tight NL West as LA pounded the hapless Rockies 11-4. Our 2* STRONG Mets beat the Nationals 8-1 as they try to chase down the Phillies in the NL East. For the Mets, David Peterson got back on track after 2 subpar outings as he went 8 strong innings allowing just 1 run on 4 hits. Nationals starter Jake Irvin entered this contest with an inflated 5.14 ERA and it only got worse as he was shellacked by the Mets lineup for 6 runs on 8 hits in 6 innings ….AGAIN. The core of this handicap was a COMPLETE FADE of Irvin who, over his last 3 starts, has given up an unbelievable 14 runs on 23 hits in just 13.1 innings. In his current form, Irvin is a glorified Gas Can and we will look for every opportunity to cash in against him down the stretch. Adding 9 Units brings our rolling 174 day record to 251-185 for Plus 277.54 Units.

8-19-25  3* VERY STRONG – (MLB) Padres -1.5 Runs -105 (5-1) WIN

8-19-25  4* ELITE – (MLB) White Sox/Braves OVER 9 +100

Yesterday we had a 3* VERY STRONG Winner on the White Sox/Braves OVER as the oddsmakers posted a bad line and the Sox clobbered Braves pitching in a 13-9 victory. Well today it’s RINSE and REPEAT as, once again, our numbers have this posted Total being a FULL RUN SHORT which elevates this release to the 4* ELITE level. White Sox starter Shane Smith has been pretty good in his last 2 outings but, in his 7 previous starts, he has allowed an awful 25 runs on 25 hits over 22.2 innings. These numbers do not bode well when facing off against the Red Hot Braves lineup on a Hot Night in Atlanta. For the Braves it’s Bryce Elder to the bump. Elder has been OK in 2 of his last 3 outings but those are outliers as he has been absolutely CRUSHED over his last 10 starts having given up an unsightly 44 runs on an unbelievable 71 hits in 49.1 innings. My Goodness! Both of these offenses have found their stride and neither of these starting pitchers will get in the way in their current form. In addition, both bullpens are worn out and eminently hittable should it somehow come to that. This is another “Perfect Storm” with bad pitching, hot hitting and a steamy night in Hotlanta. Let the FIREWORKS Begin!

8-19-25  4* ELITE – Padres -1.5 Runs -105

Not so long ago the San Diego Padres had vaulted into 1st Place in the NL West and were feeling very good about themselves. Then came a SWEEP at the hands of the Dodgers, and a close 4-3 loss in Game 1 of a Home Series to the lowly Giants, and here we are in an absolute MUST WIn situation. Well, who better to play STOPPER than ace Nick Pivetta who has carried this starting staff the entire season. Pivetta enters this matchup with a stellar 2.87 ERA and, in his last 9 starts, he has allowed just 11 runs on 31 hits over 57.1 innings. We do not see the Giants Pop Gun offense doing much of anything here and, when Pivetta does exit, there is an excellent bullpen behind him. SF will push their chips in with Kai-Wei Teng who will be making just his 5th appearance. He has simply Not Been Good thus far with a 9.90 ERA in 10 innings having given up 11 runs on 11 hits. This deep and angry Padres lineup should tee off on him, making this an absolute SMASH SPOT for a San Diego squad in desperate need of a decisive victory.
