12-23-25  SCP 3-0 Monday 4* 49ers ROLL! (+7 Units)

We had a nice 3-0 Monday led by our 4* ELITE play on the 49ers -5.5 as they manhandled the banged up Colts 47-28 behind 5 Touchdown passes from Brock Purdy. The win keeps San Fran in the hunt for the NFC West title. The ageless Phil Rivers did throw for 277 yards but it was not nearly enough. Our 2* STRONG selection on Northern Iowa +13.5 was also a Winner as the Panthers hung well within the number in a 58-63 loss to St Mary’s. We have had limited involvement in COLLEGE HOOPS thus far, as we gather data points heading toward serious conference play, but heavier involvement is coming as the New Year approaches. We had an EXCELLENT YEAR in College Hoops last season, before hitting a rough patch in the tournaments, and are eager to get back in the saddle. Our lone 1* SOLID release in the NBA got there as Charlotte +9.5 barely stayed within the number in a 132-139 loss to the struggling Cavaliers.

12-22-25  4* ELITE – (NFL) 49ers -5.5 -110 (47-28) WIN

12-22-25  2* STRONG – (CBB) Northern Iowa +13.5 -110 (58-63) WIN

12-22-25  1* SOLID – (NBA) Charlotte +9.5 -110 (132-139) WIN

12-22-25  4* ELITE – (NFL) 49ers -5.5 -110

This line would be accurate if the Colts had not lost their QB, both starting corners (including Sauce Gardner) and a number of other key players, but that is not the case here. Indy is a shell of the team that started strong and was one of the big surprises in the NFL early on as witnessed by their current 4 game skid. On the other side we have a San Francisco side that has won 4 straight, albeit against weak competition, and is in a tense battle for the NFC West title with the Seahawks and the Rams. We see no scenario where the Colts offense, led by noodle-armed Phil Rivers, can keep up with the 49ers over 4 quarters versus Purdy and all his weapons. San Fran will stack the line to stop Jonathan Taylor and force Rivers to beat them down the field which, in his current form, he simply is not capable of doing. Our numbers make this line San Fran -10 which elevates this play to the 4* Elite level. This is an absolute SMASH SPOT for the 49ers and we will take full advantage by also playing the ALT Line up to San Fran -9.5

12-22-25  2* STRONG – (CBB) Northern Iowa +13.5 -110

This is simply too many points to give a solid Northern Iowa squad versus a St Mary’s contingent that does not appear up to coach Randy Bennett’s usual standards. Coach Ben Jacobson’s Panthers are disciplined, balanced and fundamentally sound, as are all of his teams, as they average just 9.5 Turnovers per game (ranked 12th nationally) and shoot 49% from the field. Our numbers have this battle being much more tightly contested than this bloated line indicates.
