With a limited card in Friday night college hoops action SCP released only 2 selections but both came home extending our recent run on the college hardwood to an excellent 16-5 over the last 5 days for PLUS 29 UNITS! We jumped on the recently rejuvenated Northwestern Wildcats to take down fading Iowa at home, as a 4* ELITE Release, and they did just that as they pulled away in the 2nd half behind K J Wyndham’s 20 points off the bench. In the other matchup Purdue scorched the nets at home to help seal the OVER 137 by shooting 51.9% from the floor and hitting an amazing 11-22 from deep. Trey Kaufman-Renn (29 points) and Braden Smith (23) led the charge as the Boilers finally got a much needed victory after 4 straight defeats.

WRITEUP: 2-28-25: 4* ELITE – Northwestern -4.5: The Northwestern Wildcats (6-11) host the Iowa Hawkeyes (6-11) in a BIG 10 matchup and we are backing the Wildcats as the BEST BET on a limited Friday night card. While the records are the same, we have the Wildcats coming off two impressive road wins versus Ohio St and Minnesota while the Hawkeyes continue to flounder, especially on the road where they are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7, and 2-10 ATS overall. Their problem comes on Defense where they rank LAST in the conference surrendering 80 ppg. Northwestern, on the other hand, has come alive on D in their last two outings holding Ohio St and Minnesota to just 22% from 3 and a pedestrian 56 ppg. They can also shoot it, having scored 70+ in 13 conference games. Iowa looks tired and appears to be just playing out the string, particularly on the road. The Wildcats are still trying hard and should easily take care of business on their home floor versus the fading Hawkeyes.
