Nathan Eovaldi bailed out the Rangers offense, and our 4* Selection, by tossing a 4 hit complete game shutout allowing the Rangers to eke out a 1-0 victory. But we were not so fortunate with our 2* plays in the NIT on North Texas and Loyola as both games came down to the last minute in “coin flip” scenarios, and both went the wrong way. A bounce either way and we easily could have had a nice 3-0, Plus 8 Unit day, but we move on. Losing .64 Units brings our rolling 37 day record to 72-55 for Plus 71.6 UNITS.
