Our 2* STRONG release was a WINNER as the Minnesota Timberwolves held serve at Home to take a 2-1 series lead over the LA Lakers behind stellar efforts by Anthony Edwards (29) and Jaden McDaniels (30). Fortunately for the Wolves, Luka Doncic was ill with a stomach issue and scored just 17 points. The Lakers were led by a 38 point effort from Lebron James but it was not quite enough as Minnesota pulled away late. These teams are very competitive and this series will likely not be decided until Game 7. Adding 2 Units brings our rolling 60 day record to 94-66 for PLUS 93.64 UNITS. .
2* STRONG – (NBA) Minnesota ML -170 (116-104) WIN
2* STRONG – (NBA) Minnesota ML -170: Tonight the Minnesota Timberwolves will try to take full command of their series versus the Lakers after taking over home court advantage with their Game 1 road upset…..and we like their chances. The only reason the Lakers are not down 0-2 is that the Wolves shooting went ice cold in Game 2. Minnesota has played tough DEFENSE in this series as their long, athletic defenders have held the Lakers Under 100 points in the first two games; with the LA bench offering no assistance at all. We look for Randle, McDaniels and Edwards, and a raucous HOME CROWD, to lead the Wolves over the Lakers for a 2-1 series lead.
