3* Brewers +108 (Burnes) over PADRES (Paddock)
Play Listed Pitchers
We will come right back on the road loving Brewers tonight at plus money versus the Padres. Corbin Burnes has been nothing short of sensational to start the season having surrendered just 1 run in 18 1/3 innings with an ERA of .49 and a FIP of .86. With the Padres lineup scuffling of late, and Fernando Tatis still not up to par after injury, they should be up against it versus the dominant Burnes. Chris Paddock has been below average this season for the Padres with a 4.15 ERA and a 2.94 FIP. The Brewers offense, even without Yelich, should be able to sting him for 3-4 runs and that will get the job done tonight. Play the Brewers on a VERY STRONG 3* selection.

3* TWINS (Happ) -115 over Indians (Allen)
Play Listed Pitchers
In his last two starts Logan Allen has done his best imitation of a batting tee as he has allowed 8 earned runs in 4.1 innings while watching 3 balls leave the yard. J A Happ on the other hand took a no hitter into the 8th inning in his last outing and looked very sharp. The Twins have limped out of the gate this season with a 7-15 record having lost 4 in a row and 8 of their last 9; hardly the look of a team to back with a 3* Rating, right? Well not so fast my friends. This game sets up very nicely as a “get right spot” for the struggling Twins bats versus a pitcher that can’t get anyone out. I expect the Twinkies to come out swinging early and often sending Allen to an early exit yet again. A team with this much proven offensive talent will not stay down forever. Play the Twins -115 in a VERY STRONG 3* selection.

2* Royals (Duffy) / Indians (McKenzie) UNDER 8 -115
(2:10 Afternoon Start)
Play Listed Pitchers
Today’s titanic struggle finds two teams heading in opposite directions. The KC Royals got off to a great start but have dropped 4 straight while the surging Indians have won 4 in a row behind an offense that has finally given Jose Ramirez some help. The Royals hope to stop the bleeding behind lefty Danny Duffy who has nothing short of unhittable thus far, sporting a miniscule .60 ERA and an equally impressive .97 WHIP, while Tristan McKenzie toes the rubber for the Indians. McKenzie was great last season but has been plagued by wildness this year surrendering 18 walks in 18.2 innings. Of course he also has 29 strikeouts which shows the talent and live arm are still there. With Duffy doing his best vintage Kershaw imitation I cannot see the Indians getting to him for more than a run or two. On the flip side I cannot see the struggling Royals lighting up McKenzie either unless he walks in 4 runs. I make this O/U line 7 so there is a ton of value at the current line of 8. Play Royals/Indians to stay UNDER 8 on a STRONG 2* selection.
