We got a bit unlucky twice on Wednesday as our 2* STRONG Cubs led 3-2 going into the 7th inning when an error by 3B Jon Berti extended the inning which led to the Pirates plating 2 runs for the 4-3 victory. There is nothing worse than losing on a miscue. Just catch the damn grounder and throw it to first base like a Major League infielder! Our 1* SOLID release on Yankees/Baltimore OVER 9.5 was even more painful as there were 6 RUNS scored in the first 2 innings (and 8 runs through 5 innings) yet amazingly the teams could not combine to score 2 more lousy runs the rest of the game as Baltimore held on 5-4. The “Gambling Gods” owe us a couple so here is hoping the bounces come back our way soon. Dropping 4.36 Units brings our rolling 65 day record to 101-73 for PLUS 91.41 UNITS.
